Best Birchbox yet? Quite possibly. Here’s what arrived in my mailbox today:
Viva la Juicy La Fleur by Juicy Couture. I’m not an everyday fragrance-wearer, but this perfume will be nice to have on hand for a few upcoming events on my calendar.
Schick Hydro Silk Razor. This month’s “extra” item is a great one. Razors are expensive, and I still haven’t settled on a drugstore brand that I love. Maybe this will be the one?
Miss Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curls. I’m generally loyal to DevaCare Arc Angel to tame my crazy curls, but with the hair-ruining heat and humidity this summer, I’m excited to try something (anything!) new. Its blend of avocado, sweet almond, and coconut sound healing and moisturizing, and the two sample packs I received will get me through at least four tries.
Whish Three Wishes Body Butter. This organic (!) body butter has a nice, light scent and isn’t as thick and goopy as I would expect from a butter. Perfect timing to soothe dried-out summer skin!
DDF Brightening Cleanser. I’ve been using DDF products for a few years now to calm my stubborn, acne-prone skin, so a new-to-me DDF cleanser is a very welcome addition to my box this month. This sample is quite large, and if it keeps up its promise to brighten skin and fade scars, I’ll definitely be adding this to my nightly skincare routine.

Great mix! I’m still glad I don’t get Birchbox anymore, but I’m really really sensitive to fragrance, and I think it started feeling like opening a magazine with too many smelly inserts. I am a little jealous of this month’s products though

Hi Pam! Birchbox is $10 per month, and you can subscribe at Birchbox.com. There might be a waitlist to join, but it’s a really fun subscription service to be a part of!
I got the same box you did and can’t wait for it to get here to try the cleanser and curl product. I also use Deva Curl and love their products, but don’t mind trying something new, either!

I got a differnt Miss Jessie’s product, it’s called Quick Curls. it’s a 2oz sample so It’ll last me for a little bit. It smells great and helps my waves. I also got Pixi Lid Last Shadow Pen (eye shadow crayon), I really like this product.
I’ve tried Quick Curls a few times – it’s a bit heavy for my hair, but a good product nonetheless. I saw a few of those shadow pens – fun!
I got the razor and the fragrance sample, but my Whish product was shaving cream instead of body butter, and instead of the curl product and cleanser I got a teeny tiny tube of some kind of moisturizer I don’t recognize called Yon-Ka I think, and a carded sample of the new Stila concealer and foundation/BB cream. The kind you tear out of a magazine. I am sort of disappointed, thinking of canceling my subscription…
