I have recently moved to New York from the Philippine and despite the fact I am a permanent resident here, I have made it to the point that I shall explore the place like a tourist. Taking pictures here and there and enjoying it like a vacation! That’s the sure summer agenda–to enjoy.

I am trying to plan a trip to take my mom to Italy for her first time. With my poor Italian (thanks Google translate), I am trying to connect with some cousins only grandparents have ever met in Vasto who can maybe give us the grand tour. And with Italy being one of the fashion capitals of the world, well..let’s just say I need to do some shopping.

Hi Anna! At the end of this month I am going down to Dallas for the first time to attend one of my closest friend’s wedding! She is the first out of my group of girlfriends to be getting married and we are all so excited! It’ll also be a bit of a reunion for all of my college friends since we all live in different parts of the US :)

Since I just came back from a trip to Colorado, our vacation plans this summer include a quick trip to NJ/NYC for a wedding. BTW, if you have never been or heard of the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado, put it on your bucket list. It is absolutely amazing.

I’ve been meaning to try the OPI Nail Appliques but can’t bring myself to shell out the dough ;) *Crossing fingers*

My husband and our two kids are hoping to travel to Mount Rushmore at the end of the summer…our itinerary includes Mount Rushmore, of course, Crazy Horse Memorial, Reptile Gardens, a gold mine and a crystal cave. It should be tons of fun and with an 8 year old and 9 month old, will be very busy! Having kids makes mani/pedi time a constant challenge and I find myself putting layers of polish on randomly throughout the day, because I’m constantly interrupted, so the appliqués would be something wonderful to try! Have a great summer!

I got engaged in Carmel. It’s gorgeous. If you want to splurge check out the Hyatt Highlands there. Totally worth it!

Heading to NYC in July!! Last time I was there for an interview and didn’t get chance to explore the city. This time, I will tour the city down! I would appreciate any fun idea that is typically not included in a tour group. Any recommendations, New Yorker?

Hi Elaine! Definitely walk the BK Bridge and then check out Brooklyn Bridge Park/the Promenade for gorgeous views, or the High Line if you want to stay in Manhattan. Hit Chelsea Market before. Have brunch in Brooklyn (Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, and Park Slope are cute brownstone neighborhoods), check out Brooklyn Flea if you’re here on a Saturday. I love walking around the Upper West Side, too. Scones from Alice’s Tea Cup on 73rd street are a must. Have fun!

Hi there! I am currently beachside at Hilton Head Island, SC. I am planning my annual educational dance conference to Chicago in mid July as I am a dance teacher so those Kardasian. Colors would be great! However after the conference this year I am being evaluated by the Diamond Clinic for chronic migraines and may be admitted for treatment…which will be a drag so the glitter will be a super pick me up! I also plan a mission trip with my church if my health permits. Love your blog, keep up the good work!!!

I wish I could take a trip to Dallas sometime in July or August. That’s an extremely weird time to go there, but I have a good reason: one of my dearest friends is moving there in a few weeks, and another friend is moving away from there in September. I live in Upstate NY, and haven’t seen either of them in a very long time – it sure would be nice to see them both at the same time!
