swatched: vintage minnie mouse collection by opi
I received OPI‘s new Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection yesterday – a set of four sweet, girly shades. After discovering an amazing red yesterday, these reds and pinks had a lot to live up to!

The collection includes:
The Color of Minnie, a classic red with a very subtle frosty shimmer.
I’m All Ears, a bright magenta packed with lighter pink shimmer.
If You Moust You Moust, a bubblegum pink.
Nothin Mousie ‘Bout It, a pale pink glitter with heart confetti suspended in a lightly tinted base.
The formula on these three polishes is good but thin – they all required three coats. The Color of Minnie is the winner for me out of these, though compared to other reds, it’s not exactly groundbreaking. If You Moust You Moust could be a fun pedicure polish for summer. It’s very Pepto-pink.
Sadly, Nothin Mousie ‘Bout It, the heart confetti glitter, is really fussy and hard to work with.

I had to fish around in the bottle quite a bit to get a heart on the polish brush, and getting the heart from brush to nail without a goopy mess was even harder. The results are not good.
I’m not thrilled with this collection, but a young girl would absolutely ADORE these cute colors and heart glitter. So give this one to your daughter, niece, little cousin – she’ll love you forever.
(Minnie-me circa 1980something. She would have loved these colors.)

I love the OPI bubblegum pink!
I’m with you on these. The Pepto-pink might be fun for tan toes later this summer though. Love the old photo! Hehehe.
The only one I like is I’m All Ears but I don’t feel like I have to rush to the store to get it. They are pretty standard colors, nothing new.
Darn, was hoping to hear better things about Nothin Mousie ‘Bout It–that heart glitter totally speaks to my inner teeny-bopper. Like the shimmer on I’m All Ears, but not super excited about the overall collection.
Hey Ally. The glitter looks fun in the bottle, but it’s not so good on the nail. You might be able to get decent results by pouring a little out and using tweezers or something to place the hearts where you want them, but painting/dabbing left me with a mess.
I’m all ears is cute…but shame about the heart glitter…thats the one I wanted
I know! The glitter sadly is more trouble than it’s worth.
I really like this collection
I think that the glitter polish is worth the trouble!
