It feels like winter again this morning, but over the last few days, spring flowers have been popping up all over my Brooklyn neighborhood. Daffodils, especially. In honor of their cheery arrival, I attempted a shade of nail polish that rarely graces my fingers. It’s the one color in which I only own a single bottle of polish. Yellow.
This is Mattese Elite Almost Famous, and it’s not all that bad, right? Yellows have a tendency to be very streaky and are generally not worth their trouble, but this went on smoothly in three coats. I generally assume yellow will make my pale skin look sickly, and while my fingers look very pink here, I think they’re just in shock from the sudden change of temperature.
