I first saw Gaby’s stunning pink nails while we were lounging by the lake in Guatemala, so when I noticed she was wearing the same color during a Sunday morning yoga class, I had to find out more…

Where are we today? One Girl Cookies in Cobble Hill. They have the *best* homemade yogurt and granola here. It’s my favorite post-yoga breakfast.

What are you wearing? Chanel’s Rose Insolent. I don’t usually wear designer nail polish, but this was a Christmas gift and it’s made me a convert.

Salon or do-it-yourself mani? This is DIY, but that’s unusual for me and is a result of the Chanel polish being so easy to apply. For the last 3 years or so, I’ve gone to Dashing Diva in Cobble Hill weekly. They are fantastic and *so* clean. Plus, I love getting my nails done in such an over-the-top girly atmosphere.

Why do you wear nail polish? By default, I look at my hands more than my face or clothing. Having a manicure helps me feel “finished”, even when I’m not.

If you could only wear one color for the rest of your life, what would it be? In the winter, I like Dashing Diva’s Stock Exchange. It’s a dark cherry hue that works really well with my skin tone. Since we only get one choice, I’ll go with that one for summer as well.
