street scene brooklyn: charm and cookies
Brooklyn got a little bit sweeter today.

One Girl Cookies, a delightful lil’ bakery in Cobble Hill, opened their second location in Dumbo (33 Main Street) this afternoon. I’ve never been one to turn down a cookie (ever), so I took a stroll down the hill to check out their new digs.

The new One Girl is bright and airy with an urban flair. Instead of the charming Tiffany-blue walls of their Cobble Hill space, the new shop has exposed beaming, modern hanging lights, and a more industrial look, which fits in well on this stretch of Main Street under the bridge.
I ordered a soy latte (perfectly foamy) and four darling little cookies. All in the name of blogging, people!
If this location is like their Cobble Hill shop, it’s worth a visit just for an iced coffee. They use coffee ice cubes, guys. It changes everything.
Also, the whoopie pies…
So take a stroll down the Promenade or over the Brooklyn Bridge, and then stop in for a little something sweet. Oh, what a day that would be.

Thanks for your post! We’re so glad you came to visit us in DUMBO today!
