swatched: models own aqua violet beetlejuice

Ladies, this is a good one. So good that I just ran outside on this cold winter morning in yoga crops, flip flops, and my puffer coat because I had to see it in sunlight. Immediately!

If you see me on the streets of Brooklyn taking pictures in my PJs, it's okay if you pretend you don't know me. I understand.

This bottle of Aqua Violet from Models Own’s new Beetlejuice collection made its way to the borough straight from London (thanks, Angela!). And we are so lucky to have it.

The polish went on beautifully and reached opacity in two coats, though I ended up using three. The duochrome effect is gorgeous – it starts as a bright turquoise blue, but tilt your finger toward the light and the pearly purple effect is stunning. Under the bright light of my desk lamp, my nails are a lovely shimmery violet.
